Fortville Optimist Ball Day Fortville Optimist Ball Day this year will be Saturday, June 5th. This event will start off with a
Parade, including league team/player floats, at 9am , the parade will end when it reaches Fortville Memorial Park. Once
inside Memorial Park the festivities continue with the Fortville Optimist Baseball league's annual Tri-Star skills contest
followed by games at 1:00pm. The Fortville Optimist girls softball will be playing games on this day along with the Mt.Vernon
Youth baseball All-Star games. Another great event this day will be the Ball Day Blood Drive. The Indiana Blood Center will
be here from 9am to 5pm this year. Last years blood drive was such a huge success that it will be there all day to accommodate
everyone. There will also be kids games, dunk tank , moonwalk along with other booths in the park. The Fortville Lions Club
will be holding there annual breakfast in the park during this years event. Anyone wanting to participate in this years Fortville
